The Classic Stereo is the most cost-effective way to experience the incomparable sound quality of Dan D'Agostino Master Audio Systems. Its core technologies are heavily based on the design of D'Agostino's acclaimed Momentum amplifiers. The sound combines the immense power and current needed to drive even the most exotic speakers with a subtle, sweet musicality normally associated with much smaller amplifiers. With the Classic Stereo, there is no need to worry about finding the right amplifier for your speakers...because the Classic Stereo is the right amplifier, no matter what speakers you own.
The Master Power 2+ combines circuitry derived from Dan D'Agostino's acclaimed Momentum amplifiers with advanced features that make it ideal for 2.1-channel music systems and advanced home theaters. The amplifier easily delivers 300 watts per channel into 8 ohms, but this can be increased to an astounding 1,000 watts by bridging the two channels. Switches on the back allow bussing of one signal to both channels for biamping. RS-232 and 12-volt trigger inputs make the Master Power 2+ perfect for anything from purist two-channel systems to custom-installed multichannel home theaters.
The Master Power 3+ brings the acclaimed sound of Dan D'Agostino Master Audio Systems amplifiers to home theaters and advanced 2.1-channel stereo systems. Borrowing heavily from the amplification circuits D'Agostino developed for the Momentum amplifiers, the three-channel Master Power 3+ adds flexible crossover, bussing and bridging capabilities that optimize it for any system, from traditional two-channel to the immersive sound of Dolby Atmos and DTS X.
MLife is the product audiophiles have dreamed of for more than a decade, one that delivers the convenience and versatility of mass-market wireless/Internet audio products with sound quality that truly is second to none. In a single component, MLife combines a 32bit/192KHz PCM/DSD digital-to-analog converter, Apple AirPlay, Bluetooth, Internet radio and a 200-watt-per-channel Momentum integrated amplifier. Add a world-class pair of speakers, and you have all the music system you may ever need or desire.
The Momentum amplifier helped launch Dan D'Agostino Master Audio Systems and delivered magnificently on the initial design goals of formidable power and incomparable finesse from a compact chassis. Chief Engineer and Designer Dan D'Agostino started an engineering exercise that resulted in an exciting new breakthrough that D'Agostino felt compelled to include in the Momentum amplifier. This research led to the substantial improvements included the new Momentum M400.
Until now, choosing an integrated amplifier always meant choosing compromise. But that's because until now, no integrated amplifier has ever borne the signature of Dan D'Agostino. The new D'Agostino's Momentum integrated amplifier combines the core audio circuits of the Momentum preamplifier and the Momentum stereo amplifier, both of which have been acclaimed by respected reviewers around the world as among the best audio components every created.
Only the Momentum preamplifier can deliver the sound quality necessary to get the maximum possible performance from the Momentum monoblock and stereo amps.
Like the Momentum amplifiers, the preamplifier uses complementary balanced circuit topology for maximum bandwidth and low noise. Its audio circuitry is fully discrete, with no op amps. Zero-feedback design assures the most musical sound quality. Volume adjustment is made through a resistor ladder governed by an optical controller—the cleanest, most transparent possible method of controlling volume.
The Momentum stereo amplifier carries the same unique technologies that inspired one reviewer to say of the original Momentum monoblock, “It may, perhaps, be the best amplifier on the planet.” Solid copper venturi heat sinks provide efficient cooling while reducing the amplifier’s size. A highly efficient power supply reduces energy consumption to less than 1 watt at standby. High-speed transistors and rugged through-hole construction assure outstanding fidelity and reliability.
THE PROGRESSION MONO DESIGN combines two normally exclusive traits—remarkable power output and exquisite musical finesse. Power is essential to realistic sound reproduction. The Progression mono amplifier is the largest and most powerful the company has made, delivering 500 watts into 8 ohms, doubling to 1,000 watts into 4 ohms and doubling again to 2,000 watts into 2 ohms. Of course, it will play loud, but it is speaker driver control that is the most important aspect of this awesome power capability.
The Progression Preamplifier adds new features previously not included in a D’Agostino preamplifier. Most noticeably, the Progression Preamplifier features an optional digital module. The digital module adds coaxial, Toslink, and USB capability to the analog base model. A fully differential DAC handles PCM signals up to 24 bit/384 KHz and DSD signals up to 4xDSD (11.2 MHz). This digital module feeds a discrete, fully complementary and balanced analog signal path from input to output. Negative feedback is not used anywhere in the Progression Preamplifier, nor is it necessary. Open-loop distortion is less than < 0.006% and the open loop bandwidth extends to over 100KHz.
