CD Players

APEX is a new, enhanced version of the dCS Ring DAC: the Digital to Analogue conversion system found inside all dCS DACs. First developed for our professional audio products, this unique system has been subject to continuous development and refinement over the past three decades, and remains renowned for its technical and sonic performance.

AQWO was first introduced at the Munich HighEnd Show in May 2018. It is the first SACD player ever developed by Métronome. 
Like all the combos designed by Métronome, AQWO perpetuates the analog sound quality either in playing discs and in digital to analog conversion. The device has got a number of digital inputs and outputs, allowing the use with different sources. The 6.5" large touchscreen is easily readable from a far distance.

The Revox Joy CD player is the latest addition made to the Revox "Joy" family. With its robust aluminium housing available in white or silver and a black or white glass front panel, the CD player perfectly matches the other products from the Joy range, such as the Joy Network Receivers or the Joy Audio Server. You can build your own personal audio system from the wide diversity of Joy devices available.

When asked why we bother to produce a stand alone CD player in this modern era of high resolution music and streaming, I am reminded of several reasons. First is that so many of us have massive CD collections that are as capable of sparking joy today as they were years ago when first purchased. CDs can sound unbelievably good--a testament to their ability to continue to out sell digital downloads. Finally remember that for so many music lovers, learning a new digital playback method simply gets in the way of enjoying music.
