DirectStream is one of the most remarkable DACS ever built. Hand written, discrete, perfection based conversion that uncovers all the missing information hiding in your digital audio media for all these years. CD's, downloads, high-resolution PCM or DSD based media are expertly upsampled in the DirectStream to ten times DSD rate and output as pure analog directly into your amplifier or preamplifier.
DSJ uses the same FPGA architecture and customized code as PS Audio’s DirectStream DAC, and it is designed and built by the exact same team. The idea behind the DSJ was to offer near-identical performance at a fraction of the cost. How was this accomplished? Lower cost chassis and user interface.
What happens when you take a highly respected, cutting edge DAC, like our own NuWave DSD, and connect it to your power amplifier through an analog preamp? Audio nirvana. It turns out that a great analog preamp preserves a DACs magic. Together, DAC and preamp form a new class of product whose sum is greater than its parts.
A fundamental characteristic for the highly acclaimed D-7 series of the standard D/A converters is to keep evolving and upgrading each version. At TechDAS we continuously work on research with the aim of improving the D-7, bringing it to new heights. During this development, starting with a fundamental principle of audio performance, we have focused on the redesign of the power supply and casing.
The Wadia di122 two-channel digital audio decoder integrates Wadia's superior technical performance with our new Series 1 mini industrial design. Its sleek, modern aesthetic is compact in size to fit in virtually any location while complementing any surrounding. Combine it with the a102 amplifier for a complete system solution.
The di322 digital audio decoder keeps Wadia at the forefront of digital music playback by adding expanded support for high fidelity DSD files to the Wadia line. Via the USB input, the di322 supports DSD64, DSD128 and DSD256 music files. PCM files with sampling rates up to 32-bit/384kHz – including DXD 352.8kHz and DXD 384kHz formats – can also be played through the USB input. With the addition of DSD support, digital music lovers can experience and enjoy some of the latest high resolution music offerings. Its 2 optical and 2 coaxial inputs accept music with resolutions up to 24-bit/192kHz, while the DIN input will allow future Wadia models to connect to the di322 at high performance levels.
