The New FS 103 Speaker Stand Range are a testament of Custom Design's philosophy, to achieve business by product design, service success with a responsiblity to social and environmentally friendly practices.

The central column can be easily mass loaded with inert filler and the 4 satilite columns combine to provide a totally rigid speaker stand. The performance improvements are substantial, especially to the dynamic range which seems more open and free compared to conventional central, mass loaded designs. Stereo imaging and precision timing bring more excitement to your listening experience all with an accurate and controlled bass performance. The FS 104 Signature Speaker Stands are a serious alternative to the usual option of speaker stand design.

The quadri central column design are manufactured from ERW EN 10305-3 steel tube and can be easily mass loaded with our Inert Filler, supplied as standard.

Custom design extra special - One of the most common questions that users of classic loudspeakers ask us is, where can I get some decent speaker stands? The trouble is, virtually all pre-eighties boxes were expected to sit either on the floor behind the settee or - if they were lucky - on a pair of appalling castor-based contraptions which wer primarily designed to make the speakers easy to wheel behind the settee...

The QS 104 Speaker Stand Range are a quadrifid design available with a steel open frame design or standard dimension option.
The QS 104 design includes the Custom Design unique 4mm Acoustic steel top plinth and a 4mm laser precision cut base plate and when combined with zinc plated M6 fixing bolts provides a total rigid open frame speaker stand support. The hand polished acoustic top plinths connect to ERW BS EN 10305-3 steel 25.4 x 25.4mm tube, as standard for sound quality and as part of the Custom Design attention to detail philosophy.

These stands were made by Custom Designs for use with Harbeth 40 loudspeakers, they measure 43 cm wide x 38.7 cm deep and 49.5 cm high inc spikes.

They are in great condition and can be filled with filler should you wish to do so.
