The original Momentum Mono Amplifier was the first product designed and manufactured by the company and the latest version, the Momentum M400 MxV Mono amplifier elevates this iconic design to its greatest height. The Momentum M400 MxV models feature techniques and topologies initially developed and implemented in the Relentless Mono Amplifier. This fullest expression of the Momentum circuitry is reflected in the new model name, MxV. Those with a physics background will recognize that MxV or Mass times Velocity is the equation for Momentum. 

Only the Momentum preamplifier can deliver the sound quality necessary to get the maximum possible performance from the Momentum monoblock and stereo amps.

Like the Momentum amplifiers, the preamplifier uses complementary balanced circuit topology for maximum bandwidth and low noise. Its audio circuitry is fully discrete, with no op amps. Zero-feedback design assures the most musical sound quality. Volume adjustment is made through a resistor ladder governed by an optical controller—the cleanest, most transparent possible method of controlling volume.

The Momentum S250 MvX stereo amplifier delivers the extraordinary sound quality of the Momentum M400 MvX monoblock in a more affordable stereo design. The circuit topology and construction of the stereo amplifier mirror those of the monoblock, using the same ultra-efficient copper heat sinks with venturi cooling, the same 1% metal-film resistors, the same 69 MHz output transistors and the same fully complementary balanced configuration. The result is audio fidelity equaled by no other amplifier—except, of course, the Momentum M400 MxV monoblock itself. The leading compliment to the Momentum S250 MvX Stereo is the Momentum HD Preamplifier, creating a harmony worthy of any aficionado.

The Progression Integrated combines the elegance and detail retrieval of the Progression Preamplifier with the power and dynamic capability of the Progression amplifier topology housed in a chassis the exudes the D’Agostino aesthetic. Built on a modular platform, the Progression Integrated fills every need of today’s music listener and audiophile. The analog platform provides two single ended inputs and three balanced inputs including a theater pass through. Balanced preamplifier outputs make for convenient inclusion of subwoofer(s) into a system. The Bluetooth Remote control connectivity, first used in the Progression and Momentum HD Preamplifiers, is included as part of the base package. Bluetooth connectivity eliminates line of sight issues and extends the usable range 5x versus conventional IR remote controls.

THE PROGRESSION MONO DESIGN combines two normally exclusive traits—remarkable power output and exquisite musical finesse. Power is essential to realistic sound reproduction. The Progression mono amplifier is the largest and most powerful the company has made, delivering 500 watts into 8 ohms, doubling to 1,000 watts into 4 ohms and doubling again to 2,000 watts into 2 ohms. Of course, it will play loud, but it is speaker driver control that is the most important aspect of this awesome power capability.

The Progression Preamplifier adds new features previously not included in a D’Agostino preamplifier. Most noticeably, the Progression Preamplifier features an optional digital module. The digital module adds coaxial, Toslink, and USB capability to the analog base model. A fully differential DAC handles PCM signals up to 24 bit/384 KHz and DSD signals up to 4xDSD (11.2 MHz). This digital module feeds a discrete, fully complementary and balanced analog signal path from input to output. Negative feedback is not used anywhere in the Progression Preamplifier, nor is it necessary. Open-loop distortion is less than < 0.006% and the open loop bandwidth extends to over 100KHz.

The Progression Stereo Amplifier extends the Progression family with a potent stereo amplifier. Leveraging our innovative Super Rail circuitry, first unveiled in the Progression Mono, the Progression Stereo amplifier exploits this unique technology delivering remarkable control and fidelity to any connected loudspeaker.
