We are pleased to introduce the VT80SE, the Audio Research amplifier with the widest appeal to the greatest number of music lovers worldwide. By combining world-class performance with flexibility and features like auto-bias, the VT80SE has been an amp that is easy to take home and just forget as you enjoy your music collection again for the first time.
The Reference 750 SE monoblock amplifier continues the story begun 20 years ago with the introduction of the Reference 600; that is, to create the ultimate, tube-driven amplifier with enough power to drive any speaker load and to provide a musical experience unlike any before it. The Reference 750 SE redefines all expectations of what is possible from an amplifier in a music playback system. It is the culmination of everything Audio Research knows about amplifier design and manufacture – High Definition in its purest, most dynamic form.
The Reference 80S stereo amplifier continues Audio Research’s latest design effort in creating a vacuum-tube amplifier that not only redefines ultimate music reproduction, but does it in an incredibly beautiful package.
The 80S was created for the music lover who does not require the output power of its larger siblings, the Reference 160S stereo and 160M mono amplifiers. The 80S continues the design ethos, including dual GhostMeters® that float in front of four KT150 output tubes. Extruded panels, a vital part of the all-aluminum chassis, provide rigidity and beauty.
After two years in development, the new Reference 160M (REF160M) Monoblock Power Amplifier is built like no other, looks like no other, and sounds like no other amplifier that you have ever heard, but it is unmistakably Audio Research. It features a refined audio topology with fewer and better components in the signal-path than in previous designs, switchable Ultralinear/Triode operation, proprietary auto-bias, output tube monitoring and protection, an advanced power meter, and much more. This array of features has never been offered before in an Audio Research amplifier.
Audio Research is pleased to announce the Reference 160S stereo power amplifier. A vacuum-tube design, it follows in the footsteps of the internationally-acclaimed 160M monaural power amplifier, introduced in 2018, which has won multiple amplifier-of the-year honors from publications such as Stereophile, Hi-Fi+, and others.
The Reference 160S (REF160S) carries-over the stunning look of the 160M, with dual GhostMeters™ that float in front of the eight KT150 output power tubes.
To some, their favorite Bryston amplifier is the 14B³. It features huge power, utterly silent noise floor, grace in an iron fist. The Bryston 14B³ has the kind of power usually only found in monoblocks, yet this model is a dual channel. That's not to say it is compact, however. This amplifier is big and heavy. Yet it drives any loudspeaker with agility and speed rendering your favorite music with exquisite detail.
A rarified few components in audiophile lore have become so ubiquitous that nearly every music lover once had, lusted after, or if they're really lucky, currently owns one. One such legend is the Bryston 4B. This product has been manufactured continuously (though often refined) since 1978. Currently this venerated amplifier is on its 6th generation, and it's never been better. Now rated at 300 watts per channel into 8 ohms, (and upwards of 500 into 4 ohms), this true dual-mono amplifier is powerful enough for practically any speaker, yet it's priced to remain within reach. The degree of clarity, power, nuance, and outright truthfulness of this amp is stunning. If you've always wanted one, maybe now is just the right time.
Way back in 1973, a young engineer named Chris Russell took his new prototype amplifier, the PRO 3, to an A list studio in Toronto for an audition. He left with an order for two. Nearly five decades later, that amp has evolved into the Bryston 3B Cubed. It's twice as powerful as the original and ten times as impressive. Though it's one of our smaller amplifiers, it features all the same technology found in our venerable 4B. One big advantage, however, is the shallow depth. The 3B Cubed is a great all around amp, but is especially useful for shallow mounting depth applications.
For some, it's a gateway drug. The 2.5B³ is the least expensive way to get a Cubed Series amplifier, but it's far from cheap. Made with the same materials and loving care in our Peterborough, Ontario factory as every other product we make, the 2.5B³ will still surprise you with it's startling dynamics, crystal clarity and 3D enveloping spaciousness. You've really got to hear one to appreciate what an incredible deal this model is.
Besides the fact that this is one of the most powerful amplifiers on the market and can drive virtually any loudspeaker with total grace and ease, the 28B³ monoblock amplifiers are some of the finest sounding models ever at any power output. These amplifiers take complete control over your loudspeakers and command them to be their best. Bryston first-to-last-watt philosophy demands that each of our products sounds equally amazing at all power output levels. There is no product we have ever engineered that demonstrates this philosophy better than the 28B³. Even if you don't need all the power these amps offer, you owe yourself the pleasure of a demonstration. Hear the 28B³ today.

7B³ mono amplifiers are truly special. Though they don't look much different, they're a big step up from the venerable 4B³. The power supply for this amplifier is built around a specially wound transformer that is substantially more efficient than normal. With twice the power available, they can drive all but the most brutal loads to lifelike levels. But even at whisper quiet levels, they reveal detail and nuance in your recordings that you never knew existed until now.

This is power enough to produce incredible, concert-hall dynamics with any speaker. Yet it is the size of a standard audio amplifier and weighs just 55 pounds. When you consider that the Centaur Monoblock weighs in at 103 pounds, and the Hercules II Monoblock at 220 pounds, the Inspiration's ability to deliver incredible power from a modestly sized chassis is remarkable indeed.
