Custom design extra special - One of the most common questions that users of classic loudspeakers ask us is, where can I get some decent speaker stands? The trouble is, virtually all pre-eighties boxes were expected to sit either on the floor behind the settee or - if they were lucky - on a pair of appalling castor-based contraptions which wer primarily designed to make the speakers easy to wheel behind the settee...

The QS 104 Speaker Stand Range are a quadrifid design available with a steel open frame design or standard dimension option.
The QS 104 design includes the Custom Design unique 4mm Acoustic steel top plinth and a 4mm laser precision cut base plate and when combined with zinc plated M6 fixing bolts provides a total rigid open frame speaker stand support. The hand polished acoustic top plinths connect to ERW BS EN 10305-3 steel 25.4 x 25.4mm tube, as standard for sound quality and as part of the Custom Design attention to detail philosophy.

The Grand Stand speaker stand is handmade and designed in our workshops, drawing on all the knowledge we've learned from the multi award-winning Grand Stand rack.

As the name suggests, the Podium Trios is a three-legged version of its Podium Reference cousin. The Podium Trios shares many of the same features as the Podium Reference, including its sturdy 40mm solid hardwood plinths and 46mm² legs, and its high tensile strength to add density and absorb vibration. It can also be adapted and upgraded to accommodate new equipment as and when required.

One of our most popular products, the multi accolade and award-winning Podium Reference is a four-legged hi fi rack constructed from your choice of solid hardwood. The sturdy 40mm plinths provide stiffness and stability, with each standard 595mm wide plinth weighing more than 10kg - adding to the rack's density as well as absorbing vibration.

The Podium XS is our smallest Podium hi fi rack - but that doesn't mean there's any compromise on quality! Just like its larger cousins, this four-legged rack is sturdily built in the finest solid hardwoods, with each piece being individually handmade in our workshop.

The Slimline Speaker Stands were designed to complement our Podium Slimline rack. When launched, the Slimline range took Hi Fi Racks in an exciting new direction, as these were the first-ever products to be pre-made in our workshop, stocked for 'off the shelf' ordering and supplied in kit format for easy home assembly.

Each product is individually handmade in solid oak to the highest standards of British craftsmanship. There's a choice of five hardwood finishes: Solid Oak Satin, Satin Black, Mahogany, Walnut and Cherry.
